Atlas is a comic I've been posting online for like , 3 ish years now, and drawing in general for much longer than that. It was kind of a experiment at first, just to test out different drawing styles and plot points before I could make a full length story with all of these characters, a sandbox sorta which is why it's anthology instead of a linear work. I've learned a lot through drawing it, first being to actually finish something. I also learned what I did and didn't enjoy when it came to coloring styles, line art, and even art styles.
The Characters
SO basically, although it's an anthology there's two sides to it. One, is what I call is MASK OF ATLAS, that's stories about Segesta, Dovu, Dow, and others of Saint Aber-Roque. The other I call Donkey's Adventure Guild which features Don the guild leader, Skadi, Fritz, Magpie, and occasionally Roque and Salt. Here's a bit about the main characters
Segesta Atlas
While they often appear miserable, quiet and self-isolating, their behavior is mostly a result of trying to assimilate and live up to their parents expectations, work a normal career, run the family meat shop, follow their beliefs. However, they can't ignore the things they are drawn to, much of that being the spiritual realm. That's how their best (and only) friend became Dovu, a mischievous little fire demon.
Don
Leader of the Donkey's Adventure Guild, built for the sole reason of treasure hunting. However, after a nation wide conflict, life outside of their gnome village is hostile and full of beasts and especially dangerous wizards (or the not so dangerous wizards, Roque and Salt.)
